How to Sell Information Products

I am so excited today to introduce Angela Wills, if you're a faithful reader of Birdie Thompson’s Social Media Alerts Marketing Blog you will enjoy her too! She talks about how to sell information products online. Guest Publisher Angela Wills Steps to Sell Information Products Online By Angela Wills Creating your online presence is about establishing yourself as an expert in your niche. Releasing information products is a great way to offer up your knowledge and make money at the same time. Here are some of the steps you’ll want to take in creating your first information product. Step 1 – Create the Product You can create an ebook, special report, physical book, mp3, video or any combination of these products. There’s nothing to say that you can’t hire a Ghostwriter to do the writing and proof reading for you. This product can be as long or as short as you like but just make sure it’s information that people are really in need of and it delivers high value to their lives or problem. Have someone go through your finished product to proof read (or view/listen) it. Step 2 – Set up The Salespage Of course you’ll need a place to sell your new product from. Though you don’t technically need a new domain for this it’s always a good idea to have a domain specific to the product because it looks more professional and can make it easier to find. If you don’t have experience creating websites or writing content that makes sales, then this would be another great place to outsource these tasks to get it done. Step 3 – Set up an Affiliate Program Though an affiliate program isn’t an absolute necessity, it’s a great idea to set it up from the start to really leverage your new product and create more sales. There are so many strategies you can get into for finding great affiliates and I’ll have to leave that for another article. Getting a few key players helping you promote a new product can make a big impact on its release. Decide on a commission to pay your affiliates. For my first product, which sold for $19.97, I decided to offer 50% commission to my affiliates. You’ll want to offer an attractive commission to your potential affiliates so they see it’s worth their time to promote your product. Step 4 – Get a Graphic Having a graphical representation of your product really does make it look more professional. If you can’t afford to spend the money right away to get a great graphic done, don’t try to do one yourself unless you know what you are doing. It’s better to have no graphic at all then a poorly designed one. Step 5 – Start Promoting Your Product The ways to promote your information product are pretty-much endless. Here are a few ideas to get started: * Add a short ad in your email signatures. * Change your forum signatures to draw people to your new product. * Make a special offer on a forum in your niche that allows such a thing. * Make an announcement to you list that you have a new product available. * Post about your product on your blog. * Search out and contact people who are authorities in the topic your product addresses and ask them if they would be interested in becoming an affiliate. * Do teleseminars or online conferences on your topic. * Keep your affiliates motivated by providing them with resources on how to promote your products. It’s important that you get out there and start making things happen, don’t just wait for your product to start selling like hotcakes because that likely won’t happen unless you are already well known for the information you put out there. If you’re ready to get your website/salespage set up so it can start selling your information product to your target market and potential customers then join me as I teach you in my online video, webinar and email coaching program everything you need to know about creating great business websites with WordPress.

Facebook Income System

Facebook Income System

"Log Into Your Facebook Account!" Chances are, you already have a Facebook account, just like the other 500 million+ people who log into their Facebook profiles every day to check out what people are up to. In fact, nearly half of the world's Internet population are part of this social media giant, and its growth shows no sign of stopping soon, as it's grown by over 200 million users in the last year alone. So, if you really want to generate mass exposure for your online business, and compete, head-on with the most successful businesses in your marketplace, then there's no way around it - you NEED to harness the power of this mammoth source of premium traffic and laser targeted leads! Forget about expensive pay-per-click marketing, or tedious, time consuming article marketing (strategies from years ago)... Because (as you've probably already realized) that while there are hundreds of other ways that you could generate traffic to your website, there's no other way to do it at this level. We're talking about MASS SCALE advertising, where your website is literally flooded with quality traffic 24 hours a day. You could set up a single campaign, walk away for weeks and it would still continue to pump out premium traffic 24 hours a day! It's not only the fastest way to skyrocket your online income, but it's the easiest way! From the last year alone, Facebook has proven to over-deliver on quality advertising options, and once you master this traffic beast, you will finally be able to push your website to a whole new level. Imagine having your website seen by millions of people throughout the Facebook community. Imagine being able to create highly customized, TAILOR MADE advertisements that are triggered to appear only to the most targeted, active customer possible. You'll never pay for useless clicks or visits again!

Build A Email List-Now!

So many Internet businesses  fail this absolutely ESSENTIAL step of having an email list. You have the opportunity to jump out ahead of every online business not reading this article right now by simply setting up your mailing list if you donʼt already have one.
So, donʼt have a list. Set one up. Now!!! Why?
Your email list will be one of the most important assets you have in growing your  traffic and in monetizing it and making a bunch of money.
I have made many thousands of dollars from my email list. In fact, probably over half my yearly income from my Internet business is generated from my email mailing list.  NONE of it would have happened if I didnʼt have an email list.
So, how?
Find a solution for managing your email list and sign up. Of course, the big confusion there is going to be where to put your list. Youʼre probably going to try to find some script to install to your server to manage your list. Youʼre might even try some open source freebie.
Iʼm here to save you a lot of hassle. And just trust me on this one.
Use Aweber.com. The best move I ever made for my business was to start using Aweber.
I STRONGLY recommend them.
Sign up for Aweber. They are a third-party, commercial email service. Yes, that means it is going to cost you a little money. Admittedly, it might seem like a lot of money right now because you may not be making any money yet. But, Aweber is the right solution. The thing about Aweber is that email deliverability is astronomical. Plus, setting up with them early in your career is going to save you a LOT of hassle later.
I used to manage my email list in-house (meaning on my own server). Eventually, I began to find that a lot of the emails that I sent were not even arriving to my subscribersbecause of various deliverability issues and spam black lists (even though I wasnʼt spamming). I grew a brain and decided to go with a commercial service. Aweber, however, makes you re-confirm every subscriber when you import. I lost over half my mailing list because I had to move it! Iʼm not kidding.
So, take my word for it. Set your list up in a quality place from the get-go. And Aweber is my recommendation to you.

The Greg Walsh Project: Testing Audio Podcast About Social Media Two Major Problems

I just want to share a few facts regarding social media.
Today, social media is the most common and useful way to market and brand a product or services. In fact, there are so many platforms for businesses to communicate with their customers, particularly Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. But for this project, I will also create and demonstrate how this audio podcast can be used as a part of your business social media. The reason why social media is so important is because just about everyone is on it and utilizing it in some form or another.
However, there are some problems that businesses may experience while using social media.
For example, everyone knows that social media is a great for customers, and the fans that support, and “Like” your business.  But on the other hand, it is also a the ideal location for the fans to  find expression about a bad experience or, even worse, spread horrible negative feedback about your business.
Social media can be an exceptional tool for building a brand and character for your business; it can also be negative to a business with a good reputation.  Most businesses are usually, unprepared to handle the harmful feedback that’s related to their social media presences.
That’s why it is so important for any business to plan for and undoubtedly respond to the inevitable negative feedback that they may receive on social media. Ignoring that feedback, even though it sounds like the ideal route, is not the solution. The solution is to prepare how you will respond to those negative comments — will you offer unsatisfied customers simple condolences or something for free — and be sure to  follow through with those plans.
.
Another problem is, finding who will manage your social media presences. The kind of questions you would ask yourself that’s related to this social media problem is, will one of your employees do it?  Or should you outsource it?
Because as a business owner, it’s important to know how you will manage the content and information that will certainly be feeding into your social media streams.
